Security Guard Arrested for Running Private Group Selling Child Sexual Abuse Clips

“Human trafficking by seeking benefit from the production or distribution of pornographic objects or media; acting as a procurer, buying, selling, or distributing through threats, fraud, deception, or abuse of power over a person due to being in a vulnerable state physically, mentally, educationally, or in any other unlawful way, committed against a person under eighteen years of age; for the purpose of trade or by trade, for distribution or for public display, making, producing, possessing, or importing pornographic documents, drawings, prints, paintings, publications, pictures, advertisements, marks, photographs, films, sound tapes, video tapes, or any other pornographic objects, etc.”

He was apprehended at a dormitory in Thung Sukhla Subdistrict, Si Racha District, Chonburi Province.

Officials discovered a user account on the X platform that disseminated pornographic images and clips of young girls and invited people to watch clips in a secret Telegram group with a subscription fee of 200 baht. The group had over 300 members, and a large number of pornographic images and clips of a 16-year-old girl were found, which had been disseminated since the beginning of 2026.

Later, ATPD police officers gathered evidence to request the court to issue an arrest warrant for Mr. Phinnop before leading a force to search and arrest the suspect along with evidence: two mobile phones used in committing the crimes. Upon checking the phones, a large number of additional child pornographic clips were found, with the youngest child being 13 years old.

Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed that he began acting as an admin to sell child pornographic clips and images at the beginning of 2026. He got to know the victims through social media. For each victim, he would converse and build a close relationship until they were persuaded to take nude photos and clips to send to him. He would then transfer money as compensation but did not tell the victims that he would disseminate those clips in a secret Telegram group and collect a membership fee of 200 baht from each customer. He was then sent to the inquiry officials of Sub-division 3, ATPD, for further legal proceedings.
