ATPD Arrests Tattoo Artist For Luring Young Girls Into Sexual Abuse and Selling the Videos

“Human trafficking by seeking benefit from the production or distribution of pornographic objects or media, committed against a person not over fifteen years of age; raping a child not over fifteen years of age; committing an indecent act against a child not over fifteen years of age; possession of child pornography for the purpose of seeking sexual benefit for oneself or others and forwarding child pornography to others; for the purpose of trade or by trade, for distribution or for public display; making, producing, possessing, importing or causing to be imported into the Kingdom, exporting out of the Kingdom, or making widespread such child pornography; engaging in trade, or being part of or involved with child pornography; distributing or displaying to the public or renting out child pornography; for the purpose of helping to make widespread or for the trade of pornographic objects or things by advertising or spreading news by any means that such pornographic objects or things can be obtained from any person or by any method; forcing, threatening, using, inducing, inciting, or encouraging a child to perform or act in an indecent manner; and importing into a computer system data of a pornographic nature that may be accessible by the general public.”

Additionally, evidence seized included one mobile phone and one notebook computer. He was apprehended in the area of Bang Rakam District, Phitsanulok Province.

This follows police officers from Sub-division 6, ATPD, in collaboration with the IPA (International Protection Alliance) organization, investigating and finding a social media account using the Telegram application to disseminate, advertise, and sell pornographic media while having sexual intercourse with “Girl A” (pseudonym), aged over 14 years, and several other victims. There were invitation posts in a public group with over 7,000 accounts, where interested parties were told to contact him via private message to buy/sell the pornographic video clips.

Later, officials gathered evidence to request an arrest warrant until he was captured along with the aforementioned evidence. Upon checking the seized mobile phone, a large amount of evidence related to the commission of the crimes was found.

Upon interrogation, the suspect confessed to all charges. Therefore, he was sent to the inquiry officials of Sub-division 6, ATPD, for further legal proceedings.

Pol. Maj. Gen. Wittaya stated, “I would like to warn parents. Currently, there are criminal groups using social media such as X, Telegram, and other social media platforms. They use methods to invite and lure children to produce pornographic media and then disseminate it to seek benefit by collecting money to access this content. Parents should closely monitor the internet usage behavior of their children, teach them to refuse invitations, and avoid sending images or personal information to others in the online world. Everyone should realize that the production or distribution of child pornography is not just a simple offense, but a serious crime that qualifies as human trafficking, which destroys the future of children and youth. If you see suspicious behavior, such as posts inviting people to join secret groups or the dissemination of images and clips inappropriate for children, you should immediately report the lead to the police to help protect society and stop networks that profit from the suffering of children.”
