Awareness & Prevention

Duration: 2 Day Training (Classroom theory, practical exercises)

Course Details:

  • Prevention begins long before exploitation occurs. It starts with awareness, informed communities, and people who know what to look for, how to respond, and where to seek help.
  • The IPA Prevention & Community Awareness Course provides practical, evidence-informed training on human trafficking, child exploitation, and online safety. Delivered by experienced practitioners, the course combines real-world knowledge with practical tools to help participants recognise risks, understand exploitation, and strengthen prevention in their communities and organisations.
  • Designed for community members, travellers, parents, educators, frontline professionals, students, businesses, and anyone wanting to better understand these issues, this interactive two-day course covers human trafficking, child exploitation, online grooming, digital safety, recognising indicators, reporting pathways, and the roles of government, law enforcement, NGOs, and communities.
  • Through expert-led presentations, case studies, group discussions, and practical exercises, participants will leave with the knowledge and confidence to recognise risks, respond appropriately, and contribute to safer communities.
